Primitive beliefs and stereotypes that justify attacks and hatred against other humans are still wreaking havoc within our modern society. Witchcraft belief is one such primitive malice responsible for the brutal killing of innocent people, mostly our indigenous black grandmothers in some parts of South Africa.

However, witchcraft belief is not alone in this archaic madness. Indeed, this madness seems to be contagious and vice versa, with many anti-racists, for example, being xenophobic towards their fellow brethren. The same applies with anti- sexism folk being homophobic and anti- tribalism people being sexist. These stark contradictions show that humanity still has a long way to go to achieve full rationalism. For this reason, enlightened education is indispensable in order to cure this stone- age malice.
